Reconnection with Gentleness

Gentleness
 
This morning, gentleness whispered in my ear:
It has been a long time
Since you have walked with me
 
Amongst the soft clouds of
Your self and allowed
Dreams from afar to arise
 
Softness like a fairy’s wing
Brushed against my cheek
Calling, calling
 
The strains of a melodious tune
Encircle me and
They go deep within my heart
 
Unravelling the chains
Unknotting old pain
Becoming free again
 
Inviting the pleasures of
Swimming in the deep seas
Of me, this could be fun!
 
Long forgotten
Playfulness, as soft as silk
And as wondrous as fur
 
What more can I ask for
Can there be even more
Wonder and joy
 
As I discover a lost garden
A hidden pool and
My real face.
